MIGROMAT

Projection Migromat is inspired by never ending change of the landscape and by a dream, where living forests started to move to the eastern lands. People than realized, that they need to go with the forrests and jumped onto them like on big animals.

Creatures moving around in any environment leave behind traces of their presence. They consume, multiply, adapt the landscape to their needs, and leave their bodies behind for others to live off. As well as living creatures can migrate, also all landscape part can do so, if they do not have the right conditions in their teritory anymore.How can we perceive what will be going on in our environment ? Can a place be changed just by our presence or movement within it?
This  work is a mix of video and still picture and it is made of whirling colors in the water, on the paper and real landscapes.

Migromat je experimentálním přenosem snu o krajině, která se rozhodla emigromat na jinou část kontinentu.

Bytosti, pohybující se jakýmkoliv prostorem v něm zanechávají záznam své přítomnosti. Konzumují, množí se, upravují krajinu ke svým potřebám a zanechávají své tělo pro život jiných. Tak jako migrují živé druhy, i celé krajinné typy se přesouvají z kontinentu na kontinent nebo jen o pár metrů dál, pokud z nějakých důvodů nemohou žít ve stávajícím teritoriu.Jak citlivě dokážeme vnímat, k čemu se chystá naše prostředí? Jakou roli hraje naše přítomnost nebo pohyb v něm? Co znamenají živé body míhající se prostorem?

Video je kombinací klasického videa, animace a malby barvou ve fyzikálním prostředí vody a vlhkého papíru.
